I am first and foremost a drummer and have been playing on and off, both professionally and for fun, for many years. I started out playing in bands that did top 40, rock, and jazz at parties and dances as a teenager in northern New Jersey. After high school I was in a couple of southern rock bands that played at clubs in the northern Jersey, southern New York State area. I went on to play in two different original bands, recording and playing clubs in NY City. Then, after moving to the Philadelphia area, I was in a couple of classic rock/top 40 bands. About 15 years ago I also started working the wedding/party circuit, in between playing in another cover/originals band in Chester County and Delaware. My most recent steady gig was with the Jill Salkin Dance Band doing the wedding scene. I’ve also done tons of studio work with original bands & artists and continue to hone my craft as a drummer and a performer. My second love is engineering and producing music and I have been doing this as a "hobby" since I was first introduced to the magic of “sound-on-sound” as a kid in high school. I’ve recorded some local musicians and bands throughout the years as well as my own songs, arrangements of covers, and the like. In addition, from time to time I record drum and vocal tracks long distance with song writers in far off places like California and England.
